You are an artist. We already know that. What we don’t know is your medium. Is your medium paint, or words, is it numbers or code, do you design process or optimize it?

When we hear the word artist we think of someone who takes elements and creates a new thing out of them. The question always comes back to what is your medium. What’s challenging is your medium might not be obvious like paint or words, like clay or stone.

So your challenge this week is to ask three people. “As someone who creates new things, how would you describe my medium?”

Three will help you see if there are any similarities. Three will show you that you are more than one thing.

Be brave and ask people across a broad spectrum of backgrounds.

Plan to have some time afterward to chat. We’re pretty sure it’s going to spark a conversation.
