Hello Hello,

Today we’d like you to take a second and think about how you got to where you are today.

First, we want you to think of the small army of people who helped you. Yes, if you think about how many teachers and advisors you had, we’re sure it could easily fill a large room.

We also want you to think about you and your investment in yourself. If you add up the hours you spend in school alone, the average college graduate has already spent 18,720 hours investing in just their education. This doesn’t count all the hours of homework, elective courses and other time you’ve spent on yourself. This is time spent on just making you the smart-as-a-whip person you are. Is that number too big to comprehend?

You spent about 100 hours a month spending time on you.

How much do you spend now?

We know that we’re not even close to that. Mostly because we have jobs to do. We know you do too.

So here’s our challenge for you this week.

We want you to do one thing that’s a clear investment in yourself. It doesn’t matter what it is or why. Want to get a haircut? Totally fine. Want to sign up for a course on Quantum Physics? Totally good too. Want to buy that insert article of clothing here which is a bit expensive but you know will make you feel like the best you ever? Go for it. Want to hire someone to makeover your LinkedIn Profile? We think that’s a great idea too.

Why? Because you should invest in you, the same way you did for those 18, 720 hours.

We want you to pay attention to the result of this investment. Is the investment worth the cost? Our guess is yes.

Reply to this message and let us know what investment you made for yourself and how it felt.
